中華電信Wi-Fi自動認證功能1/15正式開通

首波以mPro950型綁約的iPhone客戶適用 提供更流暢的3G Wi-Fi行動上網體驗

    中華電信為提供客戶更流暢的上網體驗，自102年1月15日起正式啟動Wi-Fi自動認證功能(EAP-SIM)，為讓行動上網客戶更安心使用本功能，不需擔心使用3G或Wi-Fi網路產生額外收費，首波適用對象為中華電信mPro950型綁約的iPhone客戶(需為iPhone 3GS以上機型)。非mPro950型的iPhone綁約客戶仍可由網頁輸入emome帳號及密碼登入使用。

中華電信將陸續發送簡訊給適用客戶，客戶於收到簡訊後，點選服務網址並確認同意服務條款後，即完成EAP-SIM自動認證設定，未來只要iPhone客戶開啟Wi-Fi功能，即可自動連上中華電信Wi-Fi熱點，由3G自動轉為Wi-Fi連線上網，目前中華電信已有超過三萬個Wi-Fi熱點可支援EAP-SIM功能，今年預計新增一萬個熱點，行動上網使用體驗更便利！

中華電信預計於今年2月份開放3G無限瀏覽網際網路型(850型)的iPad綁約客戶使用Wi-Fi自動認證，此外，針對Android行動裝置客戶，中華電信已開發可免費下載的「CHT Wi-Fi」App，客戶可至HamiApps、Google Play軟體商店搜尋，完成安裝即可使用，客戶只要透過APP一次性帳號與密碼設定後，即可自動登入中華電信Wi-Fi。中華電信目前也正與Android手機製造商進行相關測試，未來將視測試結果，儘快將Wi-Fi自動認證服務延伸至Android行動裝置，讓更多客戶方便地暢遊3G及Wi-Fi行動網路。
